Founded in 1979, Engineering Design Consultants, Inc. (Endecon Inc.), previously known as Professional Consulting Group (PCG) entered the dry utility consulting field as the first firm to offer design and engineering services. Endecon offered full dry utility management services to land developers of commercial, industrial, and residential projects, in addition to local, state, and federal agencies. Endecon is recognized as the first minority-owned firm to be certified by major utility companies to engineer and design their dry utility systems (gas, overhead and underground electric, telephone, fiber optic, lighting, and cable television). Endecon’s established authority comes from our ability to maintain professional relationships with utility companies, public agencies, team members and our clients.

Endecon is uniquely qualified to provide complete dry utility engineering, design, consulting, and construction management services on all projects. Our in-house team members are experts on federal, state, and local public agency laws, tariffs, codes and ordinances.  Our significant knowledge and experience in understanding and applying agency regulations affords Endecon the ability to identify dry utility related issues that can impact a project’s success. Equally important, Endecon will work directly with local agency engineering legal staff to identify specific strategies and changes in local policies, which will result in reduced financial exposure for the agency and the agency’s private sector development partners.
