About

Providing over 50 years of expert dry utility services

ENDECON pairs technical depth with proven delivery to plan, design, and coordinate electrical, gas, and communications infrastructure for public and private projects.

Our Expertise

Dry utility coordination rooted in decades of Southern California delivery

Founded in 1979, Engineering Design Consultants, Inc. (ENDECON), formerly known as Professional Consulting Group (PCG), entered the dry utility consulting field as the first firm to offer design and engineering services.

Over the past five decades, ENDECON has provided comprehensive dry utility management services to public agencies and private developers across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. We are recognized as the first minority-owned firm to be certified by major utility companies to engineer and design their dry utility systems, including gas, overhead and underground electric, telephone, fiber optic, lighting, and cable television.

What sets us apart

Certified as an SBE, DBE, and MBE firm, we partner with agencies and developers to protect budgets, timelines, and community priorities across Southern California.

Our in-house team understands federal, state, and local utility codes, enabling us to identify conflicts early, streamline permitting, and engineer value-driven relocation strategies.

ENDECON saves project teams time and money whenever existing electric, gas, CATV, and communications systems must be removed, relocated, undergrounded, or expanded to serve new demand.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our goal is to provide our clients with the most accurate understanding of existing utility conditions while providing the most cost effective, creative, and timely engineering, design, strategic planning, coordination, and construction management services for all projects regardless of the project type, size, or geographical location.

ENDECON specializes in saving project teams time and budget when existing dry utility systems—electric, gas, fiber, and communications—must be removed, relocated, undergrounded, or expanded to serve new demand.
